MISSION
Bringing passionate athletes together to share experiences. Making memories on the bike by day, then reliving them over and over in the evening.
Inspired by this idea and a spirit of enterprise, we started organising cycling events for everyone through Surplace Sports several years ago. Cycling was often at the heart of our events, and we always sought a balance between sporting challenges, interaction between participants and a relaxed atmosphere where everyone could be themselves.
Since 2017, we have organised De Ronde van België, Berchem Koerst, Surplace en Route, Sportful Social Rides and many other events, large and small. In 2021 and 2022, we worked with Count me In on various multi-day events.
On 1 October 2022, we went our own way again with Surplace Sports and launched Belgium Bike Fest. Our mission remained the same: bringing passionate athletes together to share experiences. We make the ride possible, but our participants make it their own and set the pace.
Alongside Belgium Bike Fest, we support partners, organisations and businesses with sporting and creative projects. We enjoy sharing our vision and expertise. Sport brings people together and makes us healthier and happier. Through Surplace Sports, we want to play our part.
Alexander Vrints joined the Surplace Sports team in 2022. We believe that together, the three of us form a team of free spirits capable of surprising you.
